The NTT DATA Group is developing cutting-edge services that anticipate trends in technology and strengthening system development capabilities to bring innovation to our customers.
Developing Cutting-edge Services that Anticipate Trends in Technology
Smart Devices
We develop services that enable customers to safely and confidently use smartphones and tablets, drawing upon our security technology and accumulated know-how in system development. These services are provided under the BizSMA brand.
Big Data
We are establishing M2M cloud computing services, a technology for effectively gathering and managing sensor data.
We are also advancing our Large-scale Real-time Data Analysis service for monitoring of subject conditions to detect signs of abnormalities and provide forecasts in a timely manner by gathering, analyzing, and processing large volumes of data in real time.
Cloud Services
We create technologies for establishing and managing cloud systems on an open-source basis and for large-scale data processing (Hadoop) that generates new added value for cloud services. We are also working on network virtualization technology (OpenFlow) and a cloud platform(OpenStack)to further benefit open source communities, and technology for customers to migrate their existing systems to the cloud.
Strengthening System Development Capabilities to Bring Innovation to our Customers
Automated Software Development
Shorter product and service life cycles and intensifying global competition are quickly raising the priority of accelerating IT as a vital management issue. The NTT DATA Group is developing technology for generating completely automatic source codes based on design information as a major effort to respond to these concerns. This technology has the potential of shifting the prevailing paradigm of conventional software development. The NTT DATA Group will continuously pursue automation technology to help customers accelerate their management capacities by shortening the development period by up to 50%.
Open Source Software
We are also emphasizing the deployment of open source software (OSS), which reduces licensing costs and eliminates dependence on specific vendors, for mission-critical systems that require reliable operations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
