NTT DATA successfully outsourced all application testing for a global payments services company by creating a world class test center of excellence.

Munich Re, a well-known reinsurance company, engaged NTT DATA to improve the testing processes and to develop a test center with integrating 16 different IT systems.

NTT DATA supported UniCredit in an ambitious programme for total renewal of its ICT infrastructures in the GPE (Group Payments Engine) sphere, to improve efficiency and profitability in European payments management.

NTT DATA was engaged to develop Cognos 8 BI reports for business users across every division in the company. The project was part of a multi-year program being undertaken by the finance division to redesign the risk and financial management process across the corporation and enhance the tools used by both Corporate Financial Management and business unit managers to make better informed business decisions. Subject areas covered in this project included Finance, Accounting, Activity Based Costing Allocations, and Revenue Allocations. The reports developed by NTT DATA are used in large part by global cost and profit centers to provide insight into previously unavailable data, and to analyze the new allocation methodologies, including the firm's Costing and Revenue Allocations process, and monthly operational and financial actual-to-plan variances.

A US federal regulatory agency mandated use of eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) for all financial filings by 2011. The agency engaged NTT DATA to bring the XBRL expertise and process discipline and take on what has been called one of the largest and most complex implementations of XBRL on the planet.

NTT DATA helped a large financial firm establish an actionable measurement strategy for their financial advisor’s workstation, which lead to a 15% adoption increase and reduced maintenance costs.
