NTT DATA to Sell itelligence Stake to NTT Com

TOKYO, JAPAN --- NTT DATA Corporation and NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) today announced the signing of an agreement on January 28 under which NTT DATA Europe GmbH & Co. KG, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT DATA, will sell to NTT Com 2,459,523 shares of its total 20,974,169 common shares in itelligence AG, a leading German-based full-service provider of international SAP solutions, for 15 million euros (about 2.4 billion yen; 1 euros = 160 yen.)

The purpose of the agreement is to create a stronger organizational structure that will enable NTT DATA, NTT Com and itelligence to jointly strengthen ICT solutions capabilities for global customers, particularly European companies. The companies intend to offer one-stop seamless services, with NTT Com providing ICT services, such as global networks, data centers and hosting, and itelligence providing SAP application services.

The sale, to be finalized in the beginning of February, will leave NTT DATA Europe with 18,514,646 shares of itelligence's common stock.
