Mobile Phone ASP Service Launched for Real Estate Brokers - Lets companies quickly set up their own site providing real estate information to mobile phone users -

NTT DATA Corporation today began offering an ASP service, "Keitai ASP," aimed at real estate companies wishing to set up a Web site catering to mobile phone users.

Provided as an ASP service, Keitai ASP allows companies that broker real estate transactions to set up sites quickly and easily. Since the service makes use of the mobile phone platform of HOME4U^® Keitai (http://m.home4u.jp/), a site operated by NTT DATA offering real estate information to mobile phone users, it facilitates the rapid rollout of safe and reliable sites based on proven technology and design, and well equipped with functions specialized to the needs of the real estate world, such as the ability to request property appraisals.

Main Features of the Service

1. Functions supporting real estate buyers and sellers
   For persons looking to buy, the service provides functions for searching for condominiums, houses, land or other real estate properties, based on such conditions as area, railway line, and price, as well as functions for inquiring about found listings in order to request more information. Prospective sellers can enter the address, type of property, size and other information, then submit the information to request an appraisal of their property.
   Real estate brokers using the ASP service can make it easy for users to access their site by placing QR codes in their ads, embedded with the site address. Users can then access the site simply by capturing the QR code with their mobile phone.
2. Functions for enhancing the site with guidelines and advice on buying and selling real estate properties
   The ASP service comes with the functionality necessary for providing added-value information on a mobile phone site, such as guidelines and tips on successful buying and selling of real estate properties, or columns highlighting attractive listings. Such information can be useful especially to first-time buyers and sellers.
3. Supports three main mobile operators
   The service supports users of mobile phones by NTT DoCoMo, KDDI, and Softbank Mobile.
4. Mobile mail notification of new listings^*
   The ASP service provides functionality for sending users notification by mobile mail when a property matching their registered search conditions becomes available.
   * This feature is expected to be offered in June 2008.

Targets and Coming Developments
