NTT DATA CCS Corporation to Be Launched

In December 2007, NTT DATA Corporation (NTT DATA; head office: Toyosu 3-chome, Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toru Yamashita) and Nippon Mining Holdings, Inc. (Nippon Mining; head office: Toranomon 2-chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Mitsunori Takahagi) reached a basic agreement through which NTT DATA would take over 60 percent of the stock issued by Central Computer Services Co., Ltd. (CCS; head office: Kameido 6-chome, Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Nobuo Abe), a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Mining. Today NTT DATA and Nippon Mining formally agreed to conclude a stock transfer agreement. With this, CCS will make a fresh start as NTT DATA CCS Corporation on April 1, 2008.

Building on the foundation of the advanced technical and operational expertise CCS has cultivated in such areas as manufacturing and sales, NTT DATA CCS Corporation will use the support provided by NTT DATA to standardize its developmental process, strengthen its project management abilities, and develop human resources. In these and other ways, NTT DATA CCS Corporation will strive to achieve further growth and development as an information systems company that develops high-quality systems focused on the Nippon Mining Holdings Group and the manufacturing industry.
