NTT DATA Chosen as One of the "Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World" in 2009

NTT DATA Corporation ("NTT DATA") has been chosen as one of the "Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World" in the joint annual Global 100 survey conducted by US company Innovest Strategic Value Advisors, Inc. and disseminated by Canadian publisher Corporate Knights, Inc.

Global 100 is a survey of about 1,800 companies worldwide in various business sectors based on the results of research and analysis by Innovest Strategic Value Advisors. Assessing corporate value in non-financial areas such as the environment, society, and corporate governance, it selects the 100 most sustainable corporations in the world every year. The results of the 2009 Global 100 survey were announced on January 28 at the World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland. The selected companies were from diverse business sectors and various countries throughout the world. This year 15 companies from Japan were among the Global 100, including NTT DATA, which received an AAA rating in the IT consulting and service sector.

In 1998, NTT DATA set up an Eco-Activity Promotion Office and has been promoting environment-considerate business activities including the acquisition of ISO14001 certification. Based on our corporate ideal of "utilizing information technology to create new paradigms and values, contributing to the achievement of a more affluent and harmonious society," we have conducted activities aimed at being a corporate group that co-exists with and is trusted by society. Encouraged by the honor of being listed in the Global 100, all NTT Group companies will work together to further promote our corporate society responsibility activities.
