NTT DATA to Collaborate with Atomitech on Developing of Chinese Edition of Hinemos^®- Atomitech Ltd. making Hinemos available in Chinese language -

NTT DATA CORPORATION (Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toru Yamashita) will begin collaborating with Atomitech Ltd. (Head office: Ube-shi, Yamaguchi Prefecture; Representative Director: Koji Matsumoto) on developing of a Chinese language edition of Hinemos^®, NTT DATA's open source software for integrated operational management. Technical supports will be offered to Atomitech, as one of the services in Hinemos partner program.
Hinemos Chinese Edition with its Chinese language user interface is expected to promote wider adoption of Hinemos within users who prefer a Chinese language environment.
Towards the release of Hinemos Chinese Edition in April, Atomitech, as Hinemos solution partner, will develop Hinemos Chinese Edition and NTT DATA will provide full technical support. NTT DATA hopes that Hinemos Chinese Edition, released from Atomitech, will make Hinemos an even more popular choice for integrated operational management software.

Background

In 2005, NTT DATA began offering Hinemos as open source software for use in enterprise environments. This integrated operational management software provides both system monitoring and job administration in one package. Hinemos has already been widely adopted in partner companies and in NTT DATA. To achive even wider use, NTT DATA is aiming to widen its users, collaborating with Hinemos partners. After a solution partner agreement was reached with Atomitech in October 2009, the two companies began carrying out a series of verification tests toward development of Hinemos Chinese Edition, aiming to open up greater opportunities for use of Hinemos.
Hinemos Chinese Edition is expected to become available from Atomitech in April. Atomitech is now developing the Chinese language edition of Hinemos while NTT DATA provides technical support.

Features of Hinemos Chinese Edition

Based on Hinemos offered by NTT DATA, the Chinese language edition will have the following features.

1. Chinese interface will be fully provided, enabling all Hinemos features in Chinese language computing environments.
2. Besides the Hinemos interface, monitoring and other computer administration results will be viewable in Chinese.
3. Hinemos manuals and other documentations will also be made available in Chinese.
