Capital Alliance with Business Formula (M) Sdn Bhd of Malaysia

NTT DATA CORPORATION ("NTT DATA"; President and CEO: Toru Yamashita; Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo), through its subsidiary NTT DATA Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (President and CEO: Ryoji Fukaya; Head office: Singapore), reached a final agreement today to enter a capital alliance with the Malaysian company Business Formula (M) Sdn Bhd ("BF"; Managing Director: Harindran Narayanan; Head office: Subang Jaya, Malaysia), acquiring 60% of BF's shares outstanding.

To respond to the requirements of its Japanese global corporate customers, NTT DATA Group has been building a SAP global service support network in Europe, the United States, and the Asia-Pacific region, acquiring itelligence AG, which has its main offices in Europe and the United States, in January 2008 and Extend Technologies, based in Australia, in September 2009. The capital alliance with BF will further strengthen NTT DATA Group's SAP global service support in the Southeast Asia region.
BF has an outstanding track record in Malaysia as an SAP consulting and solution provider. Based on the seasoned know-how utilizing its close relationship with SAP, it is fully displaying its strengths particularly in the automobile and manufacturing industries.
This capital alliance will give BF access to the Japanese global corporate customers, solutions and know-how, and global resources of NTT DATA Group, enabling it to expand its business in the growing SAP market in Malaysia.
