NTT DATA Philippines wins big at 2020 Microsoft Philippines Partner Awards
Makati, Metro Manila – December 16, 2020 – Microsoft Philippines held its 2020 Partner Awards to recognize Microsoft Partners for their positive impact to customers every year.
NTT DATA Philippines won the “Customer Centricity Award,” in recognition for the exemplary focus and outstanding dedication to service, and empowering the digital transformation of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA). Amid the breakout of the global pandemic, NTT DATA Philippines supported OWWA in the creation and quick implementation of the DOLE-AKAP portal and COVID Tracker App, which proved to be essential services to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) displaced by the pandemic.
This further led to NTT DATA Philippines receiving a special award called the “Para sa Bayan Award (For the Country),” which celebrates innovative solutions that helped organizations and communities respond to and recover from challenges created by the pandemic.

OWWA partnered with NTT DATA Philippines to start their digital transformation journey back in 2018 and since then, OWWA was able to focus on innovation and providing better citizen services to OFWs and their families.
