PT Pertamina Lubricants boosts supply chain management

In order to retain their market-leading status in the Indonesian lubricant market and as part of business development efforts in the global lubricant market, PT Pertamina Lubricants needed to improve and develop technology and support systems to achieve company targets. This meant that they needed to update the current modules for their SAP supply chain management solution to improve process and shop floor management. To achieve this, they worked with NTT DATA in Indonesia.

The biggest challenge for this project was that the implementation was carried out in 2021 under pandemic conditions. This meant the entire implementation process was conducted online, with the fully remote programmer team and the Pertamina Lubricants team collaborating on the blueprint, data requirements and coordination with NTT DATA. This approach had no impact on the quality of the solution, and it was delivered according to the agreed timeline.
