NTT DATA Establishes New Subsidiary in Hong Kong

NTT DATA Corporation has established a new subsidiary in the Asian hub for finance, in the global city of Hong Kong, and started operations from November 1.
Background / Objective
NTT DATA Group has proactively expanded its businesses globally concentrating on “expansion, fulfillment, and enhancement of global businesses” as part of its areas of focus in the Group’s middle-term management plan. The payment segment, one of the company’s core businesses, is going through aggressive expansions particularly in the APAC (Asia Pacific) region where growth is anticipated.
NTT DATA plans to strengthen its payment service provider (PSP) businesses for EC merchants that are reliably expected to achieve growth in China and the APAC region, and the new Hong Kong subsidiary will promote one-stop PSP businesses to EC merchants in the regions as its core business. The subsidiary is scheduled to eventually expand its operations to businesses beyond the payment segment.
