Development of Myanmar Customs Clearance Systems
NTT DATA received an order from Myanmar Customs to develop a Myanmar version of NACCS (Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System) and CIS (Customs Intelligence Database System), Japanese trade procedure and custom clearance systems, as part of infrastructure export strategies led by the Japanese government through the ODA. Myanmar is the second country to place an order, following Vietnam. By implementing development of computerized custom clearance system (MACCS/MCIS), the efficient custom processes including introduction of national single window can contribute significantly to the overall economy.
The officially release and launching of MACCS/MCIS was on 2016 November and now also extend the system in Myawaddy.
