Job Description
NTT DATA Malaysia seeks a Data & Intelligence Manager for the Malaysia business. Responsibilities:
- Manage Data & Intelligence projects from the technical delivery perspective.
- Lead a team of Data Analysts / Data Engineers / Data Scientists in delivering Data & Intelligence projects for customers.
- Manage customer requirements and expectations and translate the requirements into technical team deliverables.
- Conduct requirement study and business understanding with various stakeholders/ business units.
- Develop and interpret business cases from business unit and provide technical direction to team members.
- Collaborate and manage external delivery partners for project delivery.
- Manage team members output quality and timeline.
- Develop and implement comprehensive tools and strategies to organize, transform, and analyze both structure data and unstructured data according to business case.
- Explain and present business cases from business perspective.
- Required to be based in customer site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or above in Informatica Technology, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics or equivalent.
- More than 5 years’ experience in Data Engineering / Data Analytics / Data Science related roles (banking/insurance experience is a plus).
- Customer facing and with excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts and solutions to business.
- Critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Team leadership and management.
- Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Rich experience in business presentation and persuasion.
- Certification on data engineering / data analyst / data science or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in Big data platform and Big data technology such Hadoop, Spark, No-SQL, systems and programs
- Knowledge in data visualization such as Tableau/ Power BI or equivalent
- Knowledge in Data Science tools such as DataRobot, Dataiku, Anaconda or equivalent
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
Candidate can provide evidence and examples of where you have demonstrated these skills in the past.
