Job Description
NTT DATA Malaysia seeks a Solution Architect for the Malaysia business. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, objectives, and requirements. Conduct requirement study and business understanding with various stakeholders/ business units.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectural designs. Develop high-level and detailed solution designs that address business and technical requirements.
- Bridge between business and technology, ensuring that the proposed solutions meet the business objectives while aligning with technical standards and best practices
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and interpret business cases from business unit and provide technical direction to team members.
- Ability to manage a mixture team comprise of vendor, data engineers from both internal and client to deliver project within stipulated timeline.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, make technical decisions on EDW design, architecture and best practices.
- Experience in various Data Warehouse concepts, including techniques for handling very large databases.
- Understands the range of options and best practices for common ETL design techniques such as change data capture, key generation and optimization.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and guidelines for development teams.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers to provide accurate estimates and timelines for architectural components.
- Collaborate and manage external delivery partners for project delivery.
- Manage team members output quality and timeline.
- Required to be based in customer site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or above in Informatica Technology, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics or equivalent.
- More than 5 years’ experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse/ Data Engineering/ Data Analytics related roles (banking/insurance experience is a plus).
- Excellent in database knowledge and SQL scripting. Knowledge in Microsoft technologies such as MS SQL, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS is a MUST.
- Customer facing and with excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts and solutions to business.
- Critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Team leadership and management.
- Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Rich experience in business presentation and persuasion.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
- Certification on data engineering/ data analyst/ data science or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in Enterprise Data Governance framework
- Certified Scrum Master is a plus
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
