ITE Awards Assessment Management System Tender to NTT DATA SINGAPORE

NTT DATA Singapore (NTT DATA), Trusted Global Innovator, has been awarded the tender by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) for the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning for a New Assessment Management Data Mart (the “System”).

The ’System’ was implemented to provide a way for ITE faculties to analyse students’ assessment results and provide data insights, to help improve students’ learning by fine-tuning the way they assess students and the way they teach learners. It helps them slice, dice and drill down into specific areas where both teaching and assessment are working well and where it can be improved.

In addition, the company has good track records on delivering data warehousing solutions, and an experienced team with the relevant expertise.”

To accomplish the next generation features as laid out by ITE, the new solution will leverage on Microsoft Azure’s Modern Data Architecture. NTT DATA will design and deploy the ‘System’ on the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) enabling ITE to use the features of the ‘System’ securely, efficiently, effectively and without a huge investment on hardware.

This data-driven educational approach is aligned to the digital transformation needs and goals for an Institution like ITE to thrive in Industry 4.0 and help their staff and learners be ready for the 4^th Industrial revolution. To make it easier for the academics and their leaders in ITE to gain assessment insights, the ‘System’ also allows them to generate self-service reports on various assessment aspects that they want to focus on, in addition to providing aggregated reports at the macro level.

The system exploits the latest technology to enhance performance, at the same time reducing costs, processing time and allows the platform to be scalable.
