Director, Executive Vice President and CRO
Asako Toyoda

Role: Asako Toyoda was appointed as Director in 2025, Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in 2024 and Executive Vice President, Head of Global Governance, in 2023.

Responsibilities: She is responsible for overseeing Group governance, compliance, risk management, general affairs and decision-making, including the management of the board of directors.

Experience: Prior to joining NTT DATA Corporation, Asako served as a government official, contributing to IT policy at Japan's Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. She was also First Secretary at the Japanese Embassy in France, Project Manager for IT Research at the National Institute of ICT, and Vice Mayor and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Hiroshima City. On joining NTT DATA Corporation, she led business development, fostered business synergy among Group companies, and held the roles of Head of Sales and Marketing at Global Marketing Headquarters, and Senior Vice President and Head of Global Strategy.

Additional information: Asako holds a Master's Degree in Engineering from Tohoku University (1990), served as a Visiting Researcher at Harvard University (1995) and earned a Master's Degree in Justice from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University (2003).
