Kazuhiko Nakayama

Kazuhiko Nakayama has been Senior Executive Vice President & Director of NTT DATA Group Corporation since 2023.
He is responsible for Corporate Management, which includes business strategy, digital strategy, finance and investor relations (CFO), human resources (CHRO), legal, risk management (CRO), procurement, public relations and sustainability promotion.

Kazuhiko initially joined Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) in 1989. Since the reorganization of NTT in 1999, he had been mainly engaged in business administration and financial affairs at NTT DOCOMO, NTT East, and NTT Communications, starting with the NTT holding company. He joined NTT DATA Group Corporation in 2023.

Prior to NTT DATA Group Corporation, he served as Senior Vice President & Head of Finance and Accounting Department of NTT.

As the Head of IR Office & Chief of Staff at the NTT holding company from 2012 to 2018, Kazuhiko contributed to the achievement of the Medium-Term Management Strategy by setting EPS targets and introducing a wholesale fiber access service, the Hikari Collaboration Model.
As the Senior Vice President & Head of Finance at NTT Communications from 2018 to 2020, he supported the global expansion of the data center business and other businesses while also transferring global operations to NTT Ltd.
As the Senior Vice President & Head of Finance Department at the NTT holding company from 2020 to 2023, he formulated capital policy for DOCOMO becoming a wholly owned subsidiary, raised four trillion yen in capital, supported global business combination, and introduced a new financial system common to all group companies.

Kazuhiko Nakayama holds a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University, and a bachelor's degree in economics from The University of Tokyo. He attended Gulgong High School and Merriwa Central School in New South Wales, Australia as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student.
