Keiji Kojima

Role: Keiji Kojima was appointed Outside Director of NTT DATA Group Corporation in July 2026. He contributes to the development of the company's corporate strategy.

Experience: He joined Hitachi, Ltd. in 1982 and, after serving in positions including Director of the Central Research Laboratory, was appointed President of the company in 2021, and Vice Chairman in 2025.

Additional information: In addition to his role at NTT DATA Group Corporation, he serves as Representative Director and CEO of Shinka Tech Partners; External Director of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST); a member of the International Advisory Committee of Robert Bosch GmbH; Outside Director of Marubeni Corporation; and Outside Director of Mizuho Financial Group, Inc.

Keiji earned Ph.D. (Information Science) from Osaka University in March 2005. ("Research on multimedia processing technology based on dedicated programmable processor").
He also earned M.Sc. (Mathematical Science) from Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University in March 1982.

Keiji has received numerous awards, including the Award for Extraordinary Contributions to Promote the Japan Electrical Manufacturer's Industry (2025), the R&D 100 Award for "MAP CA" (2001), the 2000 Processor of the Year Award (2001), the Yamauchi Encouragement Prize at the IPSJ Programming Symposium (1989), and the Best Paper Award for Young Researcher at the 32nd IPSJ National Convention (1986).

He has authored more than 30 publications and technical contributions, including peer-reviewed journal articles, papers presented at international and domestic conferences, and commentaries in professional magazines.
