Minoru Umehara

Role: Minoru Umehara was appointed Representative Director and Senior Executive Vice President, CFO, CSO of NTT DATA Group Corporation in 2026.

Responsibilities: He oversees Corporate Management, encompassing areas such as business strategy, general affairs, legal matters, risk management, human resources, finance, procurement, intellectual property, and public relations.

Experience: Prior to his current role, he served as Head of the Corporate Strategy Office and Head of the Consulting & Business Acceleration Department, where he led the formulation and execution of global growth strategies and drove consulting-led business expansion across the Group. From 2022 to 2024, he was based in North America as Deputy Chief Digital Officer of NTT DATA North America, where he spearheaded initiatives including the launch of the region's sustainability business. Earlier in his career, he primarily worked in the public sector, leading the development and operation of large-scale mission-critical systems and driving new business development initiatives across public and private sectors.
