TOYKO, JAPAN and PLANO, TX – March 13, 2019 – NTT DATA, a recognized leader in global technology services, has been named a Leader in the NelsonHall NEAT report for UX-UI Services 2019, which examines the UX–UI services of 15 vendors based on their ability to deliver immediate benefit and meet future client requirements.
NTT DATA was recognized for the company’s strategic investments and partnerships, which includes a large, geographically diverse skilled workforce, as well as a broad network of studios and mature capabilities built both organically and inorganically. The report also highlighted NTT DATA’s continued growth following the recent acquisitions and integrations of the U.S.– based former Dell Services, Spain–based everis and UK-based RMA Consulting.
“After partnering with NTT DATA for many years, this recognition comes as no surprise,” said Alyssa Scott, Vice President of Medical Informatics, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. “At their Collaboration Center in Texas, we leveraged NTT DATA’s extensive design thinking expertise to uncover new insights and gain an in-depth understanding of the problem we were trying to solve. This process accelerated us from a business problem to a high quality design prototype in three days, a process that would have taken weeks otherwise. This was an invaluable process for meeting aggressive delivery goals with fantastic outcomes for both Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and our customers.”
To continue the growth of the company’s UX–UI services, NTT DATA is focused on investing to expand its studio footprint, build out greater design thinking capabilities, and increase scale while standardizing delivery.
“As part of NTT DATA, we have a global support network and resources that allow our teams to collaborate and deliver solutions for our clients to address the changing needs of their companies and customers,” said Tsuyoshi Kitani, EVP and Director, CTO, CISO, Technology & Innovation General headquarters, NTT DATA. “We are honored to be recognized as a Leader by NelsonHall, and as UX–UI services evolve to focus on increased productivity and satisfaction, we will continue to invest in providing customized offerings that are specifically tailored to each of our clients and their unique cultures.”
NelsonHall’s Evaluation & Assessment Tool (NEAT) analyzes vendors that recognize the increasing importance of UX–UI services and provide solutions that include a strong design studio network, an innovative service design approach, a forward looking perspective, and balanced creative and technical capabilities. Leaders exhibit high ability relative to peers.
“Integrating, standardizing and expanding its UX–UI services network is enabling NTT DATA to share lessons and assets globally while maintaining a level of decentralization to understand and adapt to the local culture,” said David McIntire, IT Services Research Director for NelsonHall.
