CEO's New Year Message for 2026

I would like to express my sincere wishes for a Happy New Year in 2026.

The year 2025 marked a major turning point for our company.

On September 30, 2025, NTT DATA became a wholly-owned subsidiary with the completion of a tender offer (TOB) by NTT Holdings. As a result, NTT DATA has assumed an even more important role in the NTT Group as a leader not only in Japan but also globally. Going forward, we will aim for further growth as a company that contributes to the sustainable development of society by increasing our capacity for business development and M&A in global markets.

On July 1, 2025, we updated our global mission and values. These new guidelines clearly show how each and every one of our 200,000+ employees around the world will act based on shared values and how we will achieve sustainable growth as a global company. On the same day, the NTT DATA Group's corporate logo was updated in conjunction with the NTT Group's CI (corporate identity) to convey to the world our sense of unity as a group and our commitment to change.

Even in an age of rapid change, we will not forget our roots.

Under our mission of "Accelerate client success and positively impact society through responsible innovation" we will continue to work to solve social issues and create results for our clients.

I believe that 2026 will be the year when the practical application of generative AI will advance in earnest, redefining the very structure of companies and society.

NTT DATA is committed to quality growth in the AI era and will focus on 2 key themes.

The first is AI-empowered new value and productivity. By using AI to redesign client business processes, we will create new value and dramatically improve productivity. We will promote initiatives to improve the quality of management through AI by evolving a "Proposal, Implementation, and Outcome" model that focuses on customer results.

The second is next-generation infrastructure. As a unique service provider in the data center business, NTT DATA combines network and cloud technologies to provide next-generation infrastructure services leveraging the comprehensive capabilities of NTT DATA. This will support the foundation of a safe, efficient, and sustainable digital society, and promote the provision of reliable and responsible innovation essential for utilizing AI.

Last December, NTT DATA AIVista was established in Silicon Valley in the United States to promote the creation of new AI-native businesses. This new company will take the lead in AI-empowered value and productivity by bringing together cutting-edge AI technology and highly skilled human resources and strengthening partnerships with technology companies and startups.

In 2026, the NTT DATA Group will continue to take on the challenge of solving social issues through responsible innovation, together with colleagues around the world and contribute to the realization of a sustainable and harmonious society as a trusted partner for change.
