NTT DATA announces the launch of NTT DATA EMEAL, a new operational company for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America

Tokyo – July 29th, 2021 — NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services leader, today announced it has newly established NTT DATA EMEAL (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America) and would start its operation from September 14th.The new company brings everis (with a presence mainly in Europe, and Latin America) and NTT DATA EMEA (with a presence mainly in the UK, Italy, Germany, and Romania) under the same management, with 38,000 employees across 25 countries and a revenue of 3 billion euros.

This integration in the EMEAL region is a fundamental step toward operating as one NTT DATA globally, which aims to simplify and strengthen the organization, reflect its shared vision and values, as well as enhance greater and more seamless collaboration under a single NTT DATA brand. Moreover, it will enable NTT DATA to further collaborate with other NTT Group companies as one NTT and jointly provide clients, communities, and people with end-to-end value propositions from business consulting, industry solutions, digital & IT modernization, business process services, and managed services to edge-to-cloud network fabric.

In this context, Fritz Hoderlein is appointed as CEO of NTT DATA EMEAL. He is currently the CEO of everis which became part of NTT DATA in 2014. He joined the company in 1999, leading business consulting and transformational technology projects both in the Private and Public sectors and held various senior management positions in several countries. He is well versed in the impacts that technology and innovation bring to the business, and is an expert in organizational transformations.

The integrated NTT DATA EMEAL will continue to be committed to supporting clients and communities to transform confidently into the digital future and to contributing to their long-term success with further coordinated global reach and local intimacy.
