NelsonHall ranked NTT DATA as a Leader in each of the report's three categories: for overall healthcare payer operational transformation as well as specific market segments for member services and care management. Member services and care management evaluations considered vendors' abilities to apply customer experience transformation and operations to customer enrollment, ongoing customer service and care management tactics, such as nursing support.
Among NTT DATA's strengths, NelsonHall listed the company's advanced Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) capability, its strong self-service support for health plan members through the company's Digital Consumer Marketplace and Engagement platform, and the effective integration of NTT DATA's broker portal platform module with clients' CRM systems to manage member application and enrollment processes.
