TOKYO – September 14, 2023 – NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services leader, has been positioned as a Leader in Everest Group's Payments IT Services PEAK Matrix^® Assessment 2023. The PEAK Matrix is an objective, data-driven framework for identifying the relative market success and capabilities of service providers.

Increasing consumer demand for seamless transactions and real-time payments has caused a seismic shift across the global payment ecosystem. To respond to consumer demand, banks and financial services providers have had to lean on the expertise of technology leaders to create new, innovative solutions. To address this market trend, Everest Group produced the first Payments IT Services PEAK Matrix, evaluating an exclusive list of the world's leading IT service providers.

Along with NTT DATA, the 10 IT service providers who were positioned as Leaders distinguished themselves from those categorised as Aspirants and Major Contenders by creating tangible business value for their clients, supporting those clients with end-to-end modernisation, and implementing cost-takeout initiatives.

The Everest Group Payments IT Services PEAK Matrix^® Assessment 2023 assessed 30 payments IT service providers for their market impact as well as their vision and capability. The assessment is based on Everest Group's annual RFI process for the calendar year 2023, interactions with leading IT service providers, client reference checks, and ongoing analysis of the payments IT services market.
