• Analyze and thoroughly understand the user stories created by the Business to determine what the requirements are and how to meet them.
• Design and execute test scenarios and test cases needed to validate the implementation of requested features is correct.
•Creation of test data needed to execute test cases.
• Detects and logs defects found while performing testing.
• Tracks defects and helps to troubleshoot errors.
• Performs feature testing on feature branches before merging to main branch.
• Performs regression testing on release builds to ensure no breakage with newly integrated code.
• Performs production checkout testing to ensure deployment to production was successful.
• Suggests Continuous Improvement measures to optimize QA processes.
• Participate with entire team in Scrum cadences to encourage synergy.
• Minimum 2 years of QA testing experience.
• At least 2 years of Manual testing experience.
• At least 2 years of exposure to Agile software development methodology and Scrum implementation.
• At least 2 years of Experience with issue tracking software such a Jira.
• Good knowledge of SQL such as being able to execute select queries.

- Can possess specialized knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects.
- Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies, and operating standards.
- Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities and follows direction.
- Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.
Qualifications
Must have Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in technical product selection, technical design and practical implementation of IT solutions.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Nice to have, but not required:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration Longevity working in data warehouse, decision support and reporting system environments.
- Working knowledge of Oracle and IBM Relational Database Management Systems, executive information systems and statistical software packages
- Comprehensive knowledge of development languages, tools, and utilities, including Cobol, CICS, DB, ASP, COM, .Net and SQL Six Sigma and/or Project Management Institute certification.
- Experience in the health solutions industry.
