On November 13, 2020, NTT DATA Corporation was selected as one of the world's leading ESG investment indicators under the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World Index for the 4th consecutive year.
It has also been selected as one of the Asia Pacific Index made up of companies from the Asia-Pacific region since 2009.

DJSI is a stock index jointly developed in 1999 by S & P Dow Jones Indices in the United States and RobecoSAM in Switzerland. Each year, DJSI evaluates the sustainability of a company from the aspect of ESG and selects an excellent company comprehensively by taking market capitalization into consideration. From the perspective of sustainability, the top companies in each industry sector are selected as "World Index". NTT DATA was selected for the "Software & Services" category.

In 2020, of about 3,500 major companies around the world, 323 companies (39 from Japan) were selected for the DJSI World Index, and 158 of about 600 major companies in the Asia-Pacific region (82 from Japan) were selected for the DJSI Asia Pacific Index.

Sustainability Initiatives and Future Prospectives
NTT DATA will continue to promote ESG management in order to contribute to the SDGs, which are common issues for the global society, and to respond to the expectations of stakeholders by strengthening the dissemination of ESG information and resolving social issues.
