Akihiko Okada

Akihiko Okada has been a Director, Audit & Supervisory Committee Member since June 2021.
As a member of Audit & Supervisory Committee, he conducts statutory audits and audits on occasional issues, and provides advice on business management and operations from a governance perspective.

Prior to joining NTT DATA, he served as the Chairman of the Board at NTT TC Leasing Co., Ltd. He has led the financial business of NTT Group as the Representative Director at NTT TC Leasing and NTT Finance Corporation. NTT Group's finance business supports the group's SI business and information and telecommunications equipment sales to streamline the group's balance sheet and off-balance sheet, using finance leases and other financing methods. In addition, with respect to NTT DATA, NTT Group's financial business has played a significant role in NTT DATA's sales and financial activities through group financing, including providing leases to clients and CMS (Cash Management System).

Furthermore, he contributed to the launch of NTT West Corporation following NTT's reorganization in 1999, and led NTT West's Chugoku and Kyushu regions, as well as overseeing company-wide marketing as a director.

He graduated from Hitotsubashi University, Faculty of Economics in March 1981.
