Yutaka Sasaki

Role: Yutaka Sasaki was appointed Representative Director and Senior Executive Vice President of NTT DATA Group Corporation and Representative Director and President of NTT DATA Japan in 2023.

Responsibilities: He is in charge of the business operations within the Japan region, holding dual roles: he manages the technical domain as the CTO for NTT DATA Group and is also the Representative Director and President of NTT DATA Japan. His primary responsibility is steering the business specifically tailored to the Japanese market.

Experience: Yutaka joined NTT DATA Communications Systems Corporation (currently NTT DATA Japan) in 1990. Before taking on his current role, Yutaka was Director and Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Headquarters of NTT DATA Corporation. During this time, he worked on combining the businesses outside Japan with NTT Ltd. and established a domestic operating company in Japan, which was launched in July 2023. He also served as Head of Strategy Office and contributed to the formulation of NTT DATA's Mid-term Management Plan.

Additional information: Yutaka holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo.
